Day 01 : Marrakech to Ourika Valley Day Tour
The driver will pick you up from your Riad at 8:30 AM to begin your Ourika Day Trip to the Ourika Valley. This journey offers a refreshing escape from the city’s heat into the cooler, purer air of the High Atlas Mountains. Along the route, you’ll pass through the Berber village of Tahanout and visit the mausoleum of Moulay Brahim, a revered Sufi saint. You’ll also enjoy traditional mint tea with a Berber family, who will introduce you to local customs including the hammam and bread ovens.
As you reach Toubkal National Park, the town of Asni welcomes you with its vibrant souks before you continue toward the lush Ourika Valley, lined with gardens, fruit trees, and flowing rivers. Wildlife sightings may include painted frogs, falcons, and Moorish geckos. In Setti Fatma, you’ll have the chance to hike through stunning countryside with a local guide, gaining insight into Berber life and mountain vegetation.
