Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Casablanca → Rabat → Meknes → Fez

Departure from Casablanca at 8:00 AM. Our first stop is Rabat, Morocco's political capital and a UNESCO World Heritage site. We'll explore the city's most iconic landmarks including the Hassan Tower, an incomplete minaret that stands as one of Rabat's most recognizable monuments.

Next, we'll visit the Kasbah of the Udayas, a fortified citadel offering stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Bou Regreg river. The blue and white streets of the kasbah provide excellent photo opportunities and a glimpse into traditional Moroccan architecture.

After lunch in Rabat, we'll continue to Meknes, one of Morocco's four imperial cities. Here we'll see the famous Bab Mansour gate, considered one of the most beautiful gates in Morocco, and explore the royal stables and granaries.

We'll arrive in Fez in the evening and check into our hotel. The evening is free to explore the medina or relax after your journey.

Day 2 Full Day Fez Guided Tour

Today we dedicate to exploring Fez, Morocco's spiritual and cultural capital. After breakfast, we'll meet our local guide for a comprehensive walking tour of Fes el-Bali, the ancient medina and a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Our journey through the labyrinthine streets will take us to the famous Chouara Tannery, where you can observe the traditional leather-making process that has remained unchanged for centuries. The sight of the colorful dye pits is truly iconic.

We'll visit the Al Quaraouiyine University, founded in 859 AD and recognized by UNESCO and Guinness World Records as the oldest existing, continually operating educational institution in the world. Non-Muslims cannot enter but can view the courtyard from certain points.

The tour continues through the bustling souks, where we'll see traditional crafts including pottery, metalwork, and textile weaving. We'll also visit the Royal Palace (Dar al-Makhzen) with its impressive golden gates, and explore the Mellah (Jewish quarter).

Lunch will be at a traditional restaurant in the medina, offering the opportunity to taste authentic Fez cuisine. The afternoon is free to continue exploring or relax at your hotel.

Day 3 Fez → Volubilis → Return to Casablanca

After breakfast, we'll depart Fez and head to Volubilis, one of Morocco's most important archaeological sites. This ancient Roman city was once the southernmost outpost of the Roman Empire and is now a UNESCO World Heritage site.

We'll explore the remarkably well-preserved ruins, including triumphal arches, temples, and elaborate mosaics that still lie in their original locations. Our guide will bring the ancient history to life as we walk through this fascinating site.

After exploring Volubilis, we'll have lunch in Moulay Idriss, a small town perched on a hill overlooking the ruins. This holy city is an important pilgrimage site and offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

In the afternoon, we'll begin our return journey to Casablanca, with a brief stop in Rabat if time permits. We'll arrive in Casablanca in the late afternoon, where your tour concludes.
