Detailed Itinerary
Departure from Marrakech at 8:00 AM. We'll drive through the spectacular High Atlas Mountains, crossing the Tizi n'Tichka pass at 2,260m altitude. The journey offers breathtaking views of terraced villages clinging to mountainsides.
Upon arrival in Imlil Valley (1,800m), we'll meet our local Berber guide and begin a gentle trek through walnut groves and traditional villages. You'll learn about Berber architecture, agriculture, and daily life as we walk.
Lunch will be enjoyed at a local guesthouse with panoramic mountain views. In the afternoon, we continue exploring nearby villages before settling into our traditional Berber gîte for the night.

After a traditional Berber breakfast, we'll embark on a memorable trek to Toubkal Base Camp. Mount Toubkal is North Africa's highest peak at 4,167m, and the journey to its base camp offers spectacular alpine scenery.
The trek takes us through dramatic valleys, past cascading waterfalls, and alongside traditional irrigation channels. Our experienced guide will share knowledge about the unique flora and fauna of the region.
We'll enjoy lunch at a mountain refuge before beginning our descent. The afternoon is free to relax, explore the village, or participate in a traditional bread-making workshop.
In the evening, we'll gather for a traditional Berber dinner around a communal table, featuring tagine, couscous, and fresh mint tea.

After breakfast, we'll bid farewell to our Berber hosts and continue our journey over the High Atlas Mountains. Our first stop is the legendary Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of Morocco's most iconic landmarks.
This ancient ksar (fortified village) has served as the backdrop for numerous films including Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, and Game of Thrones. We'll explore the narrow alleyways and climb to the top for panoramic views of the surrounding desert landscape.
After lunch in Ait Ben Haddou, we'll continue to Ouarzazate, known as the "Gateway to the Desert." Here we can visit the famous film studios or the historic Taourirt Kasbah.
In the late afternoon, we'll begin our return journey to Marrakech, arriving in the evening with unforgettable memories of our Atlas Mountain adventure.
