Our first major stop is Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of Morocco's most iconic landmarks. This ancient ksar (fortified village) has served as the backdrop for numerous films including Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, and Game of Thrones. We'll explore the narrow alleyways and climb to the top for panoramic views.
After lunch, we'll continue to Ouarzazate, known as the "Gateway to the Desert" and home to famous film studios. We'll visit the historic Taourirt Kasbah before continuing to our hotel in the Dades Valley.

After breakfast, we'll explore the beautiful Dades Valley, known for its dramatic rock formations and lush palm groves. We'll drive through the "Monkey Fingers" rock formations and stop at traditional Berber villages along the way.
We'll continue to the Todra Gorges, where towering limestone cliffs rise up to 300 meters on either side of the river. This is a paradise for rock climbers and a stunning location for photography. We'll have time to walk along the river and enjoy the cool shade of the canyon.
In the afternoon, we'll drive through the palm-filled oasis of Tinghir, one of the most beautiful oases in Morocco. The contrast between the green palm groves and the red desert landscape is truly spectacular.

Today we'll journey through the spectacular Ziz Valley, home to one of the world's largest palm groves stretching over 50km. The drive through this vast oasis offers stunning views of traditional Berber villages and endless date palm plantations.
We'll stop in Erfoud, Morocco's fossil capital, where you can visit workshops turning ancient fossils into beautiful decorative items. The area is renowned for its trilobites and ammonites dating back millions of years.
Upon arrival in Merzouga, we'll meet our camel handlers and embark on a magical sunset camel trek across the Erg Chebbi dunes. These towering golden sands stretch as far as the eye can see, creating one of Morocco's most iconic landscapes.

We'll drive to Rissani, an important historical town that was once the capital of the Tafilalt region. The bustling market here offers an authentic glimpse into local life, with traders selling everything from spices to livestock.
In the afternoon, we'll visit nomad families living in the desert, learning about their traditional way of life and enjoying mint tea in their desert tents. This is a rare opportunity to experience authentic Saharan hospitality.
