Day-by-day itinerary

1. 1

   Day 1Errachidia – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga

   Pick-up in Errachidia and drive along the palm groves of the Ziz Valley to Erfoud and Rissani. In the afternoon, camel ride into the dunes of Erg Chebbi to watch the sunset and spend the night in a Berber camp.

2. 2

   Day 2Merzouga – Khamlia – Tinejdad – Todra Gorges

   Sunrise from the dunes. In the morning, 4x4 to the Gnawa village of Khamlia and a visit to a nomad family. We continue through the oasis of Tinejdad to the Todra Gorges, with time to walk between their 300-metre-high walls.

   Day 3Todra – Goulmima – Errachidia

   Morning walk in the palm grove of Tinghir. Return east through the old ksour of Goulmima and the Ziz Valley to Errachidia, where the tour ends.
