The complete journey: desert, kasbahs, the medina of Fes and the blue city of Chefchaouen. Want to change something? Every tour can be adapted: more days, other stops, other hotels.
Pick-up at your riad or hotel at 7:30. We cross the High Atlas through the Tizi n'Tichka pass, with stops at Berber villages and viewpoints. Guided visit of the kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, lunch in the area and continuation through Ouarzazate and the Valley of the Roses to the Dades Valley.
Morning walk in the Todra Gorges, with walls over 300 metres high. We continue through Tinejdad and Erfoud to Merzouga. At sunset, camel ride into the dunes of Erg Chebbi to reach our camp: dinner, drums around the fire and a sky full of stars.
A whole day in the desert by 4x4: around the dunes of Erg Chebbi, the Gnawa village of Khamlia and its music, nomad families, the black desert and the old kasbahs of Rissani. Optional sandboarding or quad. Evening at the camp around the fire.
Sunrise over the dunes and camel ride back to Merzouga. We drive north through the palm groves of the Ziz Valley and the plateaus of Midelt, then cross the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas, home of the Barbary macaques, and Ifrane, the 'Switzerland of Morocco', before reaching Fes.
Full day in Fes el Bali, the largest medieval medina in the world, with a licensed local guide: the Bou Inania madrasa, the Al Quaraouiyine university, the Chouara tanneries and the artisans' souks. Afternoon at leisure.
Morning drive through the green hills of the Rif to Chefchaouen. Afternoon to get lost in the blue alleys of the medina, visit the Kasbah and climb to the Spanish Mosque for the sunset over the blue city.
Morning at leisure in Chefchaouen. After lunch, transfer to Fes, Tangier or the airport of your choice, where our services end.
